The Dachstein massif, which includes more than 100 limestone peaks and divides the Austrian provinces of Styria, Salzburg, and Upper Austria, is centered on Hoher Dachstein. At a height of 2,995 meters, the Hoher Dachstein's primary summit can be found. The Dachstein massif is overshadowed by glaciers when viewed from the north, with rocky peaks rising beyond them. In comparison, the mountain descends just about vertically to the valley floor to the south. Best time to visit: May-To-Oct Things to do: Climbing, Hiking, Mountaineering, Admiring The Top View
