Klis Fortress

Klis Fortress, perched on a clifftop and providing spectacular views of Split and the vicinity of mountains, is frequently less visited than other attractions. You can study the history of the various inhabitants throughout the ages, appreciate the customary attire and tools, and even give archery a shot. The fortress has served as a filming site for the popular television series Game of Thrones. Take a sight-seeing bus that makes a halt here along the way, or drive 20 minutes from Split.
